Anthony Joshua knocked out Jake Paul in the sixth round of their boxing match in Miami on the night of Friday to Saturday. The game was broadcast worldwide via Netflix and earned both boxers tens of millions.
Joshua finishes it off hard
The battle was scheduled for eight rounds. Paul managed to stay on his feet in the first four rounds, because our professional was holding back and Jakie was running around, but in lap five he really started to hit himself a bit, so he went to the ground for the first time. He got up, but in the sixth round Joshua put an end to it with a sharp blow to the jaw. The referee didn't even count.
The outcome surprised (fortunately) few connoisseurs. 36-year-old Briton Joshua is two-time world heavyweight champion and 2012 Olympic champion. Paul, best known as an influencer, has indeed been seriously in the ring in recent years, but this opponent was clearly a few sizes too big.
