The footage, shared online after the November 1 crash in Greenacres, appears to show a man and a woman walking without shoes along a damaged road near the wreckage.
Some viewers criticised the pair for being so close to the dangerous scene. Others suggested they could have been local residents who rushed outside after the aircraft crashed nearby.
However, their identities and reasons for walking barefoot have not been independently confirmed.
A Tragedy Behind The Viral Footage
The aircraft was a Learjet 60 travelling from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas. All nine people aboard died when it crashed into a residential area.
Investigators have also reported evidence that parts of the aircraft may have broken off before impact. The exact cause remains under investigation.
